Aimée Moreau - Quatre boîtes à œufs dont une ouverte

17 December 2025 - 7 February 2026
Overview

In celebration of the centenary of Aimée Moreau’s birth (1926–2023), the gallery is proud to present an intimate two-part retrospective, on view from December 2025 to February 2026, across our Lausanne and Geneva spaces.

Focused primarily on a remarkable selection of never-before-seen drawings, the exhibition sheds new light on a body of work that unfolded quietly over decades, marked by consistency, depth, and sensitivity. Alongside these works on paper, Moreau’s talent for capturing the quiet poetry of everyday life in her paintings, through simple, day-to-day objects, is brought to the fore, inviting viewers to rediscover the beauty in the ordinary.

This retrospective pays tribute to an artist whose vision, both intuitive and enduring, resonates with a quiet force. Organised in collaboration with Sophie and Barbara Kervaire, daughters of the artist and heirs to her work.
