Marie-Laure Rampa

Marie-Laure Rampa (b. 1975, Switzerland) develops a painting practice centered on the memory of places of passage from her past, exploring travel memories, silent architectures, organic forms, plays of light, and intimate interiors. Drawing on her own photographs and sketchbooks, architectural spaces are translated into compositions that play with color gradients, solid forms and empty space, approaching the threshold of abstraction. Each composition becomes a sensitive trace between observation, atmosphere, and reminiscence. Her work is built on a contemplative approach to space, in search of emotion.
