Biography
Tobias Nussbaumer (born 1987, Basel, Switzerland) creates work that combines drawing and site-specific installation. He draws on fragments from his personal archive to rebuild simplified architectural forms using animation software and machine-learning tools. The digital results are reworked and transformed into hand-drawn pieces, made with black coloured pencil and ink on paper. Nussbaumer extends his drawings into the venue’s architecture, forming immersive settings that interweave memory, technology, and time while probing the fragility of perception.
